Model D, Serial #90842, probably of Hamburg manufacture. This
piano has an interesting past, according to its owner, it
was originally purchased in Belfast, Ireland then shipped
to Johannesburg, South Africa. It was then purchased by a
piano dealer outside of Boston and sold to its present owner
Richard Robbins. It has a history of use by many musicians,
including Maestro Ashkenazy. Mr. Robbins spent many hours
with it, writing film scores for "A Room With a View,"
Howards End," "Maurice," "The Remains
of the Day" and many others. 39 1/2 in. x 60 1/4 in.,
x 8ft. 10 in.
