Oil on canvas, 24 x 28 in., signed lower left and with notation on verso: Charlevoix/(1953)/Princequillo-Royal Type by Bull Dog/painted at Normandy Farm 1963. Charlevoix ran in the Belmont Stakes and was also sire to the famous steeplechase horse, Quick Pitch. Both horses were owned by the grandfather of the consignors.
