As an auctioneer, it’s a sad fact that you will be eventually faced with the responsibility of selling things from someone you knew and admired. That is the case with the late Zane Studenroth. Zane was interested in everything- but in particular Federal and Classical architecture and everything that it embodied. We will miss him turning up at each gallery preview (except for the Modern ones)! We had lots of fun “dishing” on the auction and antique business. He was a tough critic on almost everything, and had an incredibly discerning eye.
